No referral is necessary to attend the Back in Motion
Coquitlam Physiotherapy Clinic. Individuals simply call reception at 604-939-3011 to book an appointment with one
of our physiotherapists. In most instances extended health
care or MSP help with the costs of physiotherapy, but clients are encouraged to check with their insurance carrier before booking an appointment. We also welcome clients referred by WorkSafeBC, and ICBC.
For those who have never been to a physiotherapist before, Back in Motion’s intake procedures are as follows:
1. Each client receives a comprehensive initial examination.
This includes an extensive examination of current issues
and a history of the condition, a general medical history, a thorough physical exam, and a diagnosis.
2. A treatment plan is then determined and discussed with
the client. All our clients leave Back in Motion with a better understanding of their condition and a plan for injury-specific exercises that they can do at home to enhance their progress. Treatment frequency ranges from one to three times a week, and can last any where from two to six weeks depending on the nature of the condition.
At Back in Motion Physiotherapy we are passionate about our work, our team approach, and achieving excellence. We bring this enthusiasm to each and every client we serve!
