
In an ergonomic analysis, an Occupational Therapist analyzes a specific work environment in order to document the physical demands of a job. The assessment can also be used to determine fit between a worker and an identified job, and where relevant recommend accommodations/aides to enhance the fit. Ergonomic analysis is often helpful in the specific determination of whether a client can safely return to work.
An Ergonomic Analysis includes a detailed report documenting the physical demands of a specific job, information regarding the functional abilities and limitations of the disabled worker, and where relevant recommendations for ergonomic equipment.
