Physiotherapists
Permanent Part Time Position and Permanent Full Time Position.
Back in Motion Rehab, a private organization that specializes in rehabilitation and disability prevention, is looking for full and part time physiotherapists to work in our interdisciplinary return to work rehabilitation programs in Surrey and Richmond, BC.
The successful candidate will be a team player who can work effectively with in-house physicians, kinesiologists, occupational therapists, vocational rehabilitation consultants, administrative staff, and psychologists. The position involves provision of assessment and evidence-based treatment services to adults in our rehabilitation programs. The goals of the programs are to facilitate return to work/develop vocational plans, minimize disability, and maximize psychosocial functioning. In addition, the physiotherapist may be involved in non-traditional roles that could include delivering work shops and working in project teams with other healthcare providers to implement quality improvement and promotional initiatives. The team physiotherapist will conduct interviews, complete physical assessments, establish exercise programs, and write reports. Additional clinical duties include participating in team conferences and leading group education classes. The successful candidate will be registered (or meets eligibility requirements to become registered) with the BC College of Physical Therapists. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a clinical placement in a vocational rehabilitation setting and those who have an understanding of insurance and third party issues.
