people-business. The people in our company spend each
and every day helping others to improve their lives, so
it is important to us to provide them with a work
environment that is second to none, to support them in
the amazing work that they do.”

Here are some
great reasons why you should work for Back in Motion!
Back in Motion Rehab was selected as the 2009-2010 winner of the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award in the category of small (less than 100 employees) for-profit company.
The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award was started by the American Psychological Association a few years ago, and has competitions in 52 jurisdictions across North America. The mission of the award is to help inform businesses and other organizations as to how to create and sustain psychologically healthy workplaces, as well as publically recognize companies and agencies exemplifying psychologically healthy practices.
Back in Motion has been rated one of the best workplaces in Canada by the Great Place to Work Institute (2006–2008).
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes:
Back in Motion’s directors, managers, and staff are diverse, energetic, and fun! We have a Social Committee that organizes company-sponsored staff events throughout the year.
Here are some of the activities we’ve participated in over the years:
Back in Motion works closely with staff
to provide mentorship opportunities, evidence-based
training, and team-based peer support.
We
work with staff to develop individual professional
development plans. Skills, experience, education,
and interests are considered to help staff to grow
and develop. When positions become available, we
post them internally, and preferentially promote
from within.
At Back in Motion we care as much about the environment and community as we do about the clients we serve. We believe corporate social responsibility encompasses a manner of conducting business that is respectful and reflects current environmental, social and economic principles. That is why we established the Corporate Activity for the Respect of the Environment and Society (CARES) Committee in 2005.
CARES is actively involved in initiatives that contribute to society, including fundraising and volunteering, engaging in environmentally sustainable practices, enhancing awareness and encouraging responsible behavior.
Back in Motion Rehab has a reputation as an industry leader that provides innovative employment and rehabilitation solutions.
Currently, the Occupational Rehabilitation 1 and 2 Programs, Head Injury Assessment and Treatment Services, and Skills Connect are accredited.
