Why Work for Back in Motion?

“We are a people-business. The people in our company spend each and every day helping others to improve their lives, so it is important to us to provide them with a work environment that is second to none, to support them in the amazing work that they do.”
Dr. Debbie Samsom, Back in Motion President

Here are some great reasons why you should work for Back in Motion!

Psychologically Healthy Workplace

Back in Motion Rehab was selected as the 2009-2010 winner of the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award in the category of small (less than 100 employees) for-profit company.

The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award was started by the American Psychological Association a few years ago, and has competitions in 52 jurisdictions across North America. The mission of the award is to help inform businesses and other organizations as to how to create and sustain psychologically healthy workplaces, as well as publically recognize companies and agencies exemplifying psychologically healthy practices.

Environmental & Social Responsibility

At Back in Motion we care as much about the environment and community as we do about the clients we serve. We believe corporate social responsibility encompasses a manner of conducting business that is respectful and reflects current environmental, social and economic principles. That is why we established the Corporate Activity for the Respect of the Environment and Society (CARES) Committee in 2005.

CARES is actively involved in initiatives that contribute to society, including fundraising and volunteering, engaging in environmentally sustainable practices, enhancing awareness and encouraging responsible behavior.
